Original Stories by Rita

I think I have gone crazy! I've decided to try my hand on an original story outside of class. I thought at first it might be a short story, but with all the ideas I have I'm doubting it now and too short for a book form. The first couple of scenes have been written, and I'm so afraid it will all be considered silly and someone reading it will say are you nuts you can't write. In the past I've gotten great response for my poetry, but that is a whole different matter to full length story.
